Our Story
The Lifestyle Group began in 1999, after a remodeling project went badly wrong for our own family.
Company patriarch Rich Horen hired a contractor for his own home and spent more than a year watching the job drag on unfinished. That experience turned into a question worth answering: what would a remodeling company look like if it were built around the homeowner instead of the schedule?
Twenty-five years later the answer is a permanent staff of craftsmen, a showroom where every selection sits side by side, and clients who invite us back for their next project.

Call the office or book online. We talk through what you are planning, and answer early questions about budget and scope.

Our First Visit
A designer or project estimator comes to your home, measures the space and learns how your family actually uses it.

Design & Pricing
We develop the drawings, price the work in detail, then sit down with you a second time to review the design and the numbers together.
STEP 04
Construction Begins
You make your selections in the showroom, sign the contract, and our own craftsmen get to work with daily updates in your portal.

The things Central Indiana homeowners ask us most before a project begins.
We remodel homes across Indianapolis and the surrounding communities, including Carmel, Zionsville, Westfield, Fishers, Geist, Noblesville, Broad Ripple, Meridian-Kessler, Irvington, Avalon Hills and Franklin Township. If you are not sure whether your neighborhood is covered, call the office and ask. We have almost certainly worked nearby.
Kitchens, bathrooms, finished basements, room additions, interior and exterior remodeling, window installation and entry doors through our 26 Entries division. Some clients come to us for a single hall bathroom, others for a whole-home transformation. Both get the same designers, the same craftsmen and the same process.
As little as possible. We employ a permanent staff of skilled craftsmen who handle demolition, framing, drywall, carpentry, painting, tile and flooring in house. For masonry, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling we work with trade partners we have used for years, so your project keeps the same level of consistency from the first day to the last.
Yes, and we would rather you did. Our Southeastern Avenue showroom lets you put cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring and paint colors next to one another in the same room instead of picking them from separate stores. A second experiential design center in Carmel is on the way.
